“Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life.”
(Rachel Carson)
THE COLLECTION
Collection XIV takes inspiration from alpine nature, particularly alpine forests. Being multifaceted and fascinating constructs of biology, alpine forests serve multiple purposes - habitat and resource, home and escape, reservoir and protector from natural disasters.
The botanical diversity of alpine forests is a reflection of the variety in geological and climatic conditions, formed over millions of years and taking up almost half of the alpine territory. Thus, the biodiversity of the alpine region boasts a staggering variety of trees and plants, around 13’000 species, with a high degree of endemic plants.
Collection XIV does not only take inspiration from the astonishing variety and beauty of alpine nature, but also from its persistency and durability and our wish to offer products that help protect the biodiversity of this sanctuary for that it may serve its climate, geological and sociocultural purpose for many generations to come.
The pre-fall collection, which aims to offer transitional pieces that effortlessly bridge seasons, contains meticulously crafted, durable and easy-to-wear-and-layer pieces, which nonchalantly integrate into your summer as well as autumn wardrobe and beyond. Thus, giving you peace of mind in terms of comfort and dressing as well as the footprint and impression you leave behind.
